1) I got my handbag repaired today and made a crazy prepaired kit for it, like I used to have before it got broke. (About a year ago... Procrastinator and all.) Reading the troper tales link on the article linked to, is the only way I've gotten affirmation that I'm not alone in this habit of prepairing for the stuff most people don't. I became kind ( Read more... )

lol, I don't wanna travel anywhere without beer! ;P No, but seriously, it is fun to learn new things, but Morse Code might not be of much help if no one else knows what you're saying. hee, I think the only thing I can communicate in morse code is SOS.

Well, since the morse code is international, there are a lot of people at sea who knows it. And besides I'm going to make sure that at least my brother knows some of it. SOS is good to know, but did you know that you have to wait three short signals of time in silence between the letters?
So it goes:
dit! *silent dit* dit! *silent dit* dit! *three silent dits* dooot *silent dit* dooot *silent dit* dooot *three silent dits* dit! and you get the picture.... So if you make your dits three seconds long, consequently meaning that your doots need to be nine seconds long, it'd take 81 seconds to send one SOS. So a one-second-per-dit SOS is 27 seconds long.

Oh, and I'm stupid and forgot the meme:

I love that you are a generaly awsome person, who don't take everything too seriously. And that you don't want to travel anywhere without beer, just like Odin.

1. *laughs* A lifeboat, huh. That does sound like you are prepared. XD I doubt I could be prepared like that, well, almost. I remember once I was with my dad (he had a class or something at the hospital) and we got locked out of his truck. He called my mom and mentioned he needed light as it was getting dark. I pulled out my booklight. I can remember him telling his friends, "Look at this, look at this," with a big grin on his face. XD That's likely the only time I was prepared for something.

I doubt I could remember Morse Code. I barely remember S.O.S., only that it's nine sounds and the first and third are the same.

2. Yeah, but it's good to make the attempt to try to be as prepared as you can be. ^_^

3. Game shows? :p

4. Sweden has interesting copyright laws. I look forward to the story. ^_^

1) My having all kinds of things at hand has been a running joke throughout my teenhood and early twenties. One day, back in High School, when it was raining I brought an extra pair of socks with in my schoolbag in case I'd need to change them. While fixing something in the locker the pair of socks fell out in front of one of my friends ( ... )

1. Yep, that's prepared. I'm not sure what the name of the purses are called. I just carry one. :p

2. It works when the time comes when you need to be prepared.

3. I'm good at history questions, geography, some subjects I'm sure I'm forgetting and some useless trivial. My sister says I should be a history teacher (forget the part where I can't speak in front of people and sometimes ramble on without actually making sense sometimes).

4. What about electronic work? Stories that are written on a computer? It definitely sounds like a good way of keeping ideas yours.

I have no idea why there was a 2.

Thanks. I really hope I can get through this, too. And I'm glad you liked my story. I hadn't got anything from you on it so I'm glad you liked it. I hope I finish it, too. Need to get myself motivated on that again. >_< Just haven't felt like it lately ( ... )

Oh, don't worry. I changed the wording of the meme so that there's no compelling to do it.

And now I'll see if I can't finish my detailed review of your story and send it back to you.
