Giving Thanks

It's Thanksgiving night and I'm sitting on my couch listening to Shan and Tim play video games and cussing each other (and the game out). I smile at this because I am so thankful to have them in my life.

My back has been terribly painful the past several days, and have been having a hard time getting ready for today. Shan has helped in only a way

Thank you and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well. I have to tell you that I smiled when I read this because I was a bit flattered. I think you are an incredibly strong woman who has survived so much and come through intact and happy. I admire you greatly for that.

Aw, darlin' you are family to me as well. The fact that you, Mandi and Jan are picking up my slack on the Rewind helps me a lot. I've got massive guilt about bailing on it, but for now, it can't be helped.

There's really nothing anyone can do at the moment, other than pray and send good thoughts and vibes my way. If I can find a job that will help alleviate some of the problem, because then we will have additional income coming in again. I'm trying to find out if we qualify for any type of government assistance, before we get any further behind on utilities and start getting disconnect notices. As far as my worker's comp thing, well, I've got my final shot on the 8th of December, but to be honest, I've a feeling that I will lose it. So, that bridge will have to be crossed when we get to it.
