I'm so sorry for your daughter!

And--woohoo on the 70k! I'm a writer like you. My daily goal is always how many words I can cut, not write--I need one of those reverse word counters. :)

Thanks!

Aww, sounds like your daughter has a good head on her shoulders. :-) And I'm sure next time she'll be chosen!

Congrats on getting to 70K!

Thanks! She said "I'll never do it again!"

Hopefully, she'll keep trying, and I'll keep letting her know when I get rejected so she knows you have to keep trying :)

Good for your daughter :) My son is auditioning for a musical this week, as well...I don't know if he'll do so well with rejection, though.

Oh, good luck to him! I was so nervous for her, I thought I might puke. I hoped they wouldn't allow parents in, but now I am glad I watched.

So sorry about the audition for your daughter. Unfortunately it's a lesson that has to be learned... but so happy that she got over it quickly. Kudos to your writing as well. Keep it up!!!

Thanks! Hard to have your kids rejected, but they really need to start experiencing it sometime-it is life!
