Exhibit B: Write About Indians

Most little girls put themselves into fairy tales and hope that one day they'll find their prince. I put myself into music. I still do. When I couldn't speak, music could do it for me. When I was nine or so I discovered this song on a record that my parents had and I fell in love with the story it told and with Running Bear and Little White Dove.

Wow, I haven't heard that song in years. I can still hear it plain as day. I loved this song when i was younger.

I'm so glad other people are familiar with it. I don't recall it as being super popular but I was just a kid so I could be wrong about that.

Thank you. I swear the older I get the harder it is to believe. Someone needs to ban fairy tales. They give us unrealistic expectations I think.

Apparently multiple people sang it. I don't know now which version I grew up hearing. LOL

I don't know who sang mine, but it wasn't Tom Jones! I am so going to try and find a Tom Jones version tonight, though!

It is harder as we get older isn't it? I wish it didn't get so hard but at this age everyone has baggage and that makes it even harder.
