I highly suggest that if you are a strong liberal or such, then do not read. But, be warned, there shall be questionable language, and lots of political talk and then just total craziness. I apologize in advance for any offense.
It's buggin' me too Shannon. It's just a flu, they exist for a reason.
To wipe out the weak for the whole survival of the fittest. There's 6 cases of it in my province and I'm not worried about it, hell, I don't even get flu shots.
Exactly! It's called natural selection! Haha. I'm the same way. I don't get flu shots, but I'm healthy. I have a great immune system. The only time I'm ever sick is in the beginning of the year when strep throat goes around. But other than that, it's only ever allergies.
Just be glad you didn't have to go through the SARS "epidemic". That was a right pain in the ass. People getting quarantined, other countries not wanting to let Canadians in. *sigh* It was a pain. I went to France that year for a band trip and it almost got canceled too because France was very nervous about SARS. Which was just an overblown cold!
But I agree mostly. Swine flu really does seem to just be a trumped up flu, and the flu isn't that deadly anymore. So yea, media propaganda. Ah well.
That's apparently what our school is worried about. No one wants Texans to go out of state because we could "spread" the swine flu to states that don't have any signs of it. I'm just so sick of the government going insane over it. And the Texas government is no better; our govenor issued a "disaster warning." Pfft.
