✹NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS✹
So, it's that time of year again! Boy do I have a lot I want to accomplish in 2012...

✹ 1; MOVE OUT OF STATE. That is the most important one. By this time next year, I want to be settled in up north and secure there (have a stable job, be happy with where I live). I don't want to be up there freaking out because I have no ( Read more... )

Boston was what I originally had in mind just cus it's legal to get gay married in MA and it's near Salem (lol Hocus Pocus) and I'm into all that American Revolution history shit. But really I am open to PA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, and NH too, cus honestly I haven't actually BEEN to the northeast aside from NYC since I was like 3 and don't actually know if I would like Boston over other cities up there or not.

I do know I want to be in the New England area and in a state with/not ridiculously far from a coast because LOL been on a peninsula my whole life and it seems kinda... claustrophobic to me to be landlocked I guess? What I really need to do is drive up someday and see. It would be awesome to be somewhere where an online friend or two lives though so I'd know someone :) HINT HINT lulz

boston is good. they get a fuck ton more snow than we do though!

hmm i kind of know what you mean in a sense, like because of the 3 rivers here, i have a very hard time thinking of something truly being an urban area unless it's delineated by water. but pittsburgh is pretty landlocked. i think it's a pretty decent sized city, though not as big as boston. pretty sure the cost of living is much cheaper than boston though.

definitely let me know if you ever plan to scope out the steel city!! i will show you all the cool places! lol though pittsburgh definitely lacks in the gay scene. i mean ofc no same-sex marriage.. yet. but Queer as Folk presents a hilariously false picture of pittsburgh as this gay megalopolis. there are probably like less than 5 lol, but there is a girl bar now.
