You say you're uncomfortable with English, but the story is written well and beautifully. Very touching and yet very restrained. Great re-telling of what everyone always talks about already. And as a Fernando fan who sees how sad he's been in the past months, it's great to see your version of the events.

Oh wow. Thank you for commenting, I love a lot of the stuff you wrote. I was super annoyed by the anti-nando posts on twitter after he won the golden boot. It seems that people get too caught up in the drama, even though it's almost been two years since he transferred. The inability of the media/fans/haters to move on really bugs me.

I'm a big Nando fan and I want to know how he feels after going such ups and downs in his life...of course, it's only a fic but I think you really encapsulated Nando's feelings in such a brilliant way!

I want to say more, but I just can't, this story is so amazing that it left me speechless.

even as a red, i understood why he did what he did. and when he came back to play against liverpool, a lot of the chants really pissed me off. i mean i've always loved the spirit that lfc fans put in, but slurs about terry screwing his wife and stuff? that's not okay. i think no matter what, you have to respect him for all he did for liverpool, cause he did put a lot in.

he and villa's friendship is just beautiful. they say such nice things about each other in interviews. sad that they haven't played together in a while. :(. i think 2009 confederation cup were their best moments.
