Argh, how is it that John is as cute as the boys? I really liked this PoV, because it humanizes John and turns him into someone who isn't *just* dragging a sick kid with him in his quest for vengeance, but someone who knew that doing that was messed up.

AND HOW HE MISSES SAM. And Sam has no idea, does he, because John wouldn't just tell him. Idiot.

And this ending, with John giving Dean Sam's room number and not going himself, awwwh. Does he think he wouldn't be welcome? Or just that Dean could cheer the kid up better?

AND JESS. Reminding him of Mary? Or Dean? Either way, being all kinds of awesome~

This is so weird, I totally dreamed last night that you had posted a new story and I woke up to find you had! That's awesome!

I love Jess all but telling John off. She is so fierce and protective. I also love getting such a good look inside John's mind and seeing how much he really knows about what's going on with Sam. And Dean glaring at John over not being woken up sooner made me smile so much. I love the family dynamics you describe so perfectly and just everything.

Okay, now I need to pay attention in my college algebra class instead of pretending, but again, this was another wonderful story and I enjoyed every word. <3
