Yesterday morning, my friend Jayne, whom I've written about here and here, finally succumbed to cancer. She was a strong woman and she held on to life far longer than the doctors expected

This news makes me profoundly sad too. I talked to her all of once on the internet, but she was just so lovely and kind.

I am so sorry for your loss, Shang. She'll be in my intercession prayers tomorrow, that she might delivered forever, to that wonderful paradise I believe lies beyond death. No matter what, I have to imagine she will be there.

one of the hardest things aboutr living a long and full ife is that you lose people you've cared about, some to death, others to changes in career or life perspective, and some to loss of soul. In my own mourning these days, so my sympathies to you, my friend. May Jayne be past all pain, all fear and doubt, and rest in peace and wisdom as she continues her jourey, wherever it leads her.

Be kind to yourself in your soorow, my friend, and honor your mourning as a needed part of the process.
