The fact that the relationship between Blaine and his father has evolved to the point where Blaine can offer his dad comfort and his dad can accept it is truly wonderful.

I totally, totally agree. When I conceived of a chapter like this, at first it was Greg getting sick. But I realized the real test of Blaine and his dad's relationship would be Michelle getting sick. I just had to explore it. And I love how it came out. Thanks for reading!

My heart. This was such a great chapter. I know that sounds weird because of what happened, but their relationship has come so far. It's also just really scary now to read as an adult. I'm not ready to be in Blaine's shoes, not that he is either, but it's just so real.

Definitely a lot of these feelings were pulled from my own experience with parental illness. I basically had to explore this because the boys were getting older and it's something you have to deal with eventually. I'm glad you thought it was great because it was a tough one to write and I wanted to really capture the emotion. Thanks for reading!

Great chapter. Great family dynamics. Aging parents is such a difficult time to go through, and this was very realistic. ♥

Oh okay, that was intense. But I love that Blaine and his dad get along so well now.
