I love winter, BUT

My arms HURT. I've spent the last two and a half hours outside trying to push the snow on our yard but it's so wet it's ridiculously heavy. And dad's away on job and mom was busy baking stuff so me and my brother had to get it all done. I love our yard because it's big and spacious and beautiful, I also hate it because it's big and spacious. My ( Read more... )

Awwwww your poor arms!!!! I hate winter for the exact same reason. Well, that and I usually fall in the ice/snow at least once a year. :p

You totally deserve to rest the rest of the day! *hugs*

I try to console myself saying 'it was good exercise' but I don't want to do it again. If it means we'll have snow for a long time though, I might find the energy.

And United, don't you think I deserve to see you win spectacularly after all my troubles *doesn't know whether to laugh or cry* COME ON! *hugs desperately back*

Poor baby. I can only imagine how much you must ache after clearing the whole yard. I was ready to bitch and whine after having to clean the way in front of my parents' house. But yeah, why the whole yard? Wouldn't a pathway be enough?

Also, you need to describe "laskiaispullia" right now. It soundsw delicious. It's sweet, yeah?

Oh and, are you following the match against the Spurs right now?

With my brother though he's a slacker but it helps. And not the whole yard, oopsie, well actually... it's hard to explain. I need to post pics of our house sometime. My father keeps his business opposite our house so it's actually two yards we have and. I'm not equipped to explain right now. SO PISSED. And that is because I'm watching the game.

Pics will come of those as well. I've a very questionable food vocabulary. It's bun(?) stuffed with whipped cream and strawberry jam.

Pissed as well. That match was a desaster. Wah. At least it was against Tottenham.

It's bun(?) stuffed with whipped cream and strawberry jam.
Oooh, it sounds a bit like a Windbeutel. No idea what that is in English. But here be a pic.

At least we didn't lose like some teams... (although, you know, our goal came a little bit out-of-the-blue-last-grasp style but I'll take anything)

A bit like that, yeah. I don't understand this here but I think you will ;)
Oh yeah I forgot some have almond paste instead of jam. Yummy.

You still have snow? Hold on... when did it snow? Was it Wednesday or Thursday? 0_o Ours melted away during the night, anyway. :/ Poor you. :) Eat a few laskiaspullia to soothe the ache. And no, I have no idea what it is in English. :D Maybe there isn't a corresponding word for it?

Tevez was brilliant. :) Why so last minute, though? lol

No tänä aamuna satoi täällä kanssa mutta se oli sitä kamalaa räntälunta jota on oikein mukava yrittää lykkiä :P Wiki says laskiaispulla is called Semla o_O

WHY indeed. I will be able to laugh about it tomorrow.

Aww :P I like snow (especially since I couldn't be snowboarding or skating much without it) but it has it's worse moments.

Nah, stream was being stupid. I'll be watching the beginning of the Greece game, again if there's a working stream. Did Väyrynen play against Poland?
