1. I'm still working on my REVISING VOICE post. I've been sharing a computer at work and trying to get my new website finished at night so I can change it over this weekend. Plus I have something timely I want to discuss today (see bullet point #4) Therefore, I will be posting about revising voice on Monday. Get excited, it will be epic!

I was thinking of going to the NJ conference because LA doesn't look like it's in the cards anymore. If I do NJ, I wouldn't have to get a hotel - BUT - I have a wedding to go to that same weekend Grrrrr.

I never read the Buffy comics, but from your description above, it looks like something I could really get into.

The prob with the NJ conference is that it's the weekend of my 1st wedding anniversary (which I knew would always be the case when I picked the wedding date but I didn't really have a choice since I could only go by what the venue had open). But--it would be sooooooo easy to drive there from my parents house.

The boy isn't happy about me missing our anniversary, that's the only hang up at the moment.

I'm so jealous of kidlit drinks...and the Houndstooth pub is directly across from the hotel we stayed at when we were in NYC! So close, but so far.
