Most of you know that my car is a piece of shit, so my momo has been looking around and trying to find me a new car for a while. She found me one last week. It's a very nice car. And a pretty blue :-) Its a 2001 Saab 9 5 and has many, many bells and whistles.

So some fool thought it would be awesome if we had a snow "storm" last Saturday. Now I grew up in Upstate New York, where snow in October is really not that unusual. We're still waiting for the back end of Irene, but we've survived the rains. It looks like the main part missed us or it hit while we were sleeping and we just woke up to the destruction. Returning Soldiers are charged to check their bags--including weapons. Yes, you read that correctly. Apparently Delta charged some returning soldiers to check a 4th bag because it went over the limit of their reciprocal agreement. Really? This is ridiculous.
