Moving up the due date. . . eesh!

So after up and down insisting that we would deliver no earlier than 39 weeks because sometimes babies have issues if taken too early, my fantastic doctor has decided that we should deliver Morgan at 38 weeks 1 day. This is fine with me, I am sure by then I will be at the point where I just want this kid out of me, but five weeks seems so much ( Read more... )

Let me know what you still need for Morgan, and we'll arrange a time to bring you whatever of that list we've got, plus your shower present.

The really big thing we need is the travel system and I am believing the rumor that Ian's aunts are going to pay for that.

As for the rest, we need:
A baby carrier of some sort
A breast pump
Clothes

and most importantly a clean house though I don't expect you to help with that.

Thanks so much for everything.

The breast pump is yours -- in fact, I'm anxious to give it to you because Elliot thinks it's a toy and it's making me lose my mind. :)

As far as carriers, let's talk. What are you interested in, what is Ian interested in, etc. I sew, so any kind of carrier is an option if you would like me to make you one. I'd probably suggest a mei tai or a wrap, if we can find the right fabric, but a pouch sling is also great for newborns.

I have bags full of clothes for you as well. Are you sure you don't also need two bouncy seats and a baby bathtub? Or random bottles?

We have a bouncy seat from the shower already, I would take the random bottles. Ian doesn't like baby bathtubs on principle.

As for the carrier. I have heard great things about the moby wrap and I know we had discussed you making one. That would be really cool. We already have a maya wrap that worked really well for Ian, it just doesn't work all that well for me. I must say I do admire the kangaroo pouch you were using the other night as well. But I am rambling now in my complete lack of sleep.

We are registered at babies-r-us and there are still plenty of things on the registry we could use. As for my Mom you're right of course, her attitude just isn't what I need right now.
