ah - i knew it had to be a word that i spelled wrong and heard differently than it was spelled here.
is it pronounced "CheekZa"? that is how i am reading it - but when i have heard (what i think is the word) i hear "Shiesksa". that may just be me hearing it wrong, actually - i do that, with a lot of words (me, taking German, bad - me, taking Arabic, impossible. i was the worst. student. ever. sigh)

but, second... what is a shiksa? i have either not heard the term before, or it isn't pronounced how i'm reading it so i am not recognizing it...

A shiksa is a girl or woman who isn't Jewish.
