Hahaha! Thank you!! I loooove the comparison of River and Drusilla, because Drusilla's rantings were always wise when you took them apart too. And she was just as deadly ;)

This is so good! I do have two small nit-picky things, though. First of all, Les Mis is not set during the French Revolution. It's a common mistake, but Les Mis begins in 1815, whereas the French Revolution was from 1789-1799. The battle in Les Mis is the 1832 June Rebellion, or Paris Uprising of 1832.

Secondly, although my French is a bit rusty from a few years of not studying, I'm quite positive voulez-vous is 'do you want', not 'do you think'. Pensez-vous would be do you think.

Anyways, aside from that, this story continues to be extremely awesome! I can't wait to see how all of this works out.

Ooh, so that's why it's called The Engineer's Gift! :) I've been wondering who the eponymous engineer is, since the only engineer we know of is Kaylee, and I was preeetty sure the title wasn't referring to her. :P

Also. I love the Doctor/Rose interactions. The Doctor definitely deserves to have Rose go all Jackie Tyler on him after asking her that question! He SHOULD be nervous. :D
