Oh the River-Doctor conversation! The girl is a gun, the girl is girl and what is he. That is my favorte part and may be my favorite part of the story so far. Loved it!

Oh wow! Thank you! I just love those two together. The Doctor can understand River on a level that no one else can. I imagine that she would feel some sense of awe and relief at finally being understood.

Loved, loved, loved the interactions between River and Doctor. I really liked how he changed tact after her admonishment and spoke to her in a way that worked.

Thank you so much! When I wrote the bit with River's admonishment I was thinking back to the movie when Simon said, "Am I... talking to Miranda now?" and River gave him a look that said, "Could you possibly be any stupider?" :D

Having read all these chapters just this week (and while at work, where I was not logged in and therefore unable to comment... oops)... I'm in love with this story. Brilliant idea, stellar execution... bravo.

It's all my favorite things about Firefly and Doctor Who all in one handy story. Eeee. (And I LOVED the pears. I just about died laughing.)

I love the conversation between the Doctor and River about lethal traits and Rose's sharing comment was too cute. The monologue regarding pears was exceptionally cute and I have bad feelings about that loose bug. Can't wait to see where you go from here :)
