MJ plushie doll.

I'm thinking of making a doll of Michael, in like a raggy-doll plushie style. I can't decide what era or photo to base it on. There's too many good pics. I need your help to think of a really cute photo which would make a good basis for the doll?
I love every era of him, but I think my fave is Dangerous because I always blush at him on Remember The ( Read more... )

I think Afro!Mike would make a awesome doll.
Or Thriller!Mike.w

Btw, I found it so adorable that you lost some of the pieces that came with the doll. :)

OMG this is amazing thanks so much
This chibi idea is totally spot on... this is the kinda thing I'm thinking of!

I could start custom making them for the community whoever wants one even!

Oh, haha, so many shades, over 30 pairs, but a girl can never have enough! Just like MJ dolls!

when I get all the materials in the next couple of weeks I'll post a new thing on here and get people to give me a pic of how they want their doll to look and I'll start taking requests :)

Lol, it gives me sexy thoughts too haha.

Can I just say that I *love* that your doll is missing parts and that you've obviously loved that thing for all its worth?

My husband used to collect dolls (um, not like Richard Simmon collects dolls - I suppose these are technically "action figures", but I call them his "dollies"), and it annoys me so much that those things had to spend their whole lives in a stupid box. He's now sold them all off except for the Planet of the Apes dolls, and I keep wanting to liberate them from their cardboard habitats and play with them.

p.s. I almost died when I saw Blanket with the doll. I was already choking my way through the service, but THAT really put me over.

you're completely right.
i'm glad all you lovies are praising me for losing the parts haha, unlike most people would. i'm like you and i tend not to take the point of view of 'it's gonna be worth money one day'. if i wanted to make money off mj, i'd be an evil tabloid sell-out :(

i just love it so much and have mixed it in with my regular barbies throughout my childhood and still treasure it.

yeah it killed me darling blanket with the doll. like, it's all he physically has left of mj. he's just like us :(
one of these days i hope your husband can liberate them ha! put it this way, if you ever get an mj doll, you could take one of the apes and make it bubbles!

Man, I really wish I'd held on to all the MJ crap I had when I was a kid. I wasn't really into preservation when I was 10 years old, though, but at that time MJ was on everything - radios, gum, stickers, folders, backpacks, shoelaces, earrings, cereal boxes, everything. By the time I was a teenager, I guess I had thrown most of it away. :(

LOL at the thought of making Dr. Zaius into Bubbles!!! :D :D

lol i just had a double take giggle at my own suggestion aswell.

ha yeah i know what you mean there.
to think of the things i've lost/thrown away senselessly.
