I couldn't, either. I wanted to, but there was no way.

Where were you? I was underground headed for midtown. It took me 4 hours to walk home to Brooklyn. I walked over the Williamsburg Bridge because I was too scared I'd die if I took the Brooklyn Bridge, so I had to walk all the way from Williamsburg to Cobble Hill. I just wanted to get the hell OUT of Manhattan and never leave my apartment again.

I was stuck at school (Hunter College area). I managed to send some emails, which was funny, since our T1 line actually ran through the WTC and took a few days to stop working. I had to be picked up. I'm glad there wasn't any rioting or anything.
