If it wasn’t obvious enough by his tearful tribute at the BET Awards, Chris Brown is making it 100% crystal clear to everyone that his biggest inspiration of all time is Michael Jackson with the release of his new video for “She Ain’t You.”

Ya know I actually really enjoy that video. I love the tributes, very nicely done. The parts where Chris is more true to himself, I think that's where the tributes shine the most like, he lets himself be who he is, and MJ is a big part of who he is from what I understand.

I appreciate the thought, I guess, but my thoughts on Chris Brown have already been summed up by a much more eloquent person than I (I'm referring to the fellow in the video, J Smooth, not myself, lol). I'm sorry, I just cannot like this guy. And his hiding behind tributes isn't going to warm me up to him at all. YMMV.

Also, now that I've finally heard the song... SWV did it way better almost 20 years ago. And without auto tune to boot:

Yeah, the song itself is nothing too special. I guess, the combination of the explicit written tribute, the video (it's undeniably tasteful and with some great dancing after all) and the song is what softened me.

I prefer/love this version also. Especially because they left Michael's vocals in the sample.

he should stick to dancing, find his own style, and leave the singing to michael. i cannot stand his voice but i do think he's a great dancer, or has the potential to be one.

Love the video. I'm all for keeping the spirit of Michael's music and moves alive. Chris does a wonderful job of combining Michael's moves and his own. I like his voice, I appreciate his talent.

Not liking him as a person, but I can separate that from his talent.
