Wow -- my question is: does it really need a base? It looks pretty sturdy. Creepy, but sturdy.

We should *all* get them (if all of us had yards... but I could put it on my stoop!). It can be like the garden gnome fad.

Yeah, a really scary 7' tall garden gnome.
