First of all, this is the Tosh/Ianto fic I always wanted to read. I love the subtle build-up of their relationship. I love the comfort that's practical instead of schmoopy, because that's exactly how I see these two being around each other.
Oh, and I love how you had Tosh realize that Owen is a moron! I liked Owen okay as a character, but really, this is the kind of agency I wish Tosh had in the actual show!
And for some reason, I really like this: And wasn't it almost fun to be able to manhandle a six-foot bloke? It's just the sort of odd thing that Tosh would think in an awkward situation. And it ~is~ fun to imagine Tosh manhandling Ianto :)
This exchange is hilarious: "Yeah," he said, voice echoing out from the bathroom, speaking loudly over the running sink. "I wanted the original, but it turns out the Smithsonian is less than impressed with Torchwood since that incident in '95."
"Seriously?"
"Well, no. Not about the painting, anyway. They are still peeved with us, though."I could hear their voices, and it made me

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh you're too niceeeeeeeeeeeee i am so so so so glad you like it!!!!!
i want to print a million copies of this comment out and roll around in them
and i am so happy that tosh was ic but with agency because that is really what i was trying to reach for, she has to be such a strong person but the show kind of glosses over it
i had a lot of fun finishing this and i am so happy you enjoyed it <333
Thank you for writing this, and doing such a lovely job of it. I loved their "voices", and how they really didn't do anything that was so out of character that it didn't make sense. I loved him kissing her ankle, and she really is tiny compared to him! Her heart is as encompassing as Gwen's but she's so quiet about it. Women just get it in a way that most men don't. She doesn't even hold it against Owen that he's so snarky, because she gets it. I loved this one!
