There's a Vertigo joke in here somewhere, but currently Worlds End is parked in local space so that Mike wasn't lying when he told Kara there would be no portals, so instead he starts with the usual

It's a 'they', in fact, because the big box contains small boxes which in turn hold a matching set of red earrings, necklace, bracelet and anklet, for mix-and-matching. And a Happy Memory Ball! You think at it, and it records happy memories, and then you can play them back, like the Shi'ar thing that held Jean's essence for a bit, because stealing from canon is fun!

Wanda is grinning and spinning at once and is only one teeny tiny eensy weensy itty bitty bit disappointed that it is not a GIANT ROBOT. And once opened she is entirely distracted by the boxes and the pretty. Pretty!!

"Thank you, Mr. Mike," she says very sincerely once done spinning. She especially likes the memory ball and plays with it like David Bowie plays with the crystal in Labyrinth. Because stealing from other fandoms is even more fun!!!
