Valentine's Day, in celebration of Saint Valentine.

...At least, that's what they would like you to think. Regardless of where it came from, you're supposed to give people you love chocolates, candy, and cards on the fourteenth of February. In America, anyways.

Saint Valentine? Who is he? [...] She?

Oh, I see. That does sound like our festival. Um...is it...friends, too?

No one. He was made up by humans.

...Depends. Even if every place has the same holiday, they're always done differently. Some give things to anyone they care for, while others restrict it to only their loves.

Oh. [Inwardly he wonders why everyone always talks about humans and not any other race. .D. ]

Well, that means I can give stuff to everyone.

Valentine's Day. That's it. On the fourteenth, right? Do you get things for everyone you know....?

It is--I personally don't give to everyone I know. It's a couple's holiday.

Oh. [...]

[A couple's holiday.

Luke is a couple.

With Flora.

You mean Valentine's Day? One of my drone teachers is making us give each other cards to celebrate.

...

I was hoping Mr. Allan was going to snap out of it...but it looks like he isn't going to, huh?

Yeah. I think it'll be fun, don't you?

[...]

I...I don't think so. They said he was just acting like it, but....

I guess. But I really don't want to make Valentine cards for drones.

...He was a really good person. Maybe he finally got to go home. [He still sounds a little sad nonetheless.]

[...] Maybe they won't notice if you write funny things to them? [is this an awesome idea y/n.]

Is that what happens when people are droned?

Man do you know how many love related holidays we have in Korea? Seriously, there's one on the 14th of every single month. But really, I've been doing Black Day for enough years that I don't even notice it any more.

Really? Every month? [...] I think that's kind of nice. Love is important.

[Such a woobie, Med'an. >> ]

What's Black Day?

It's way too much for most of us, but hey, I guess to a foreigner, it'd seem different.

Black Day is for all us single people. It's called "Black Day" because we all get together and eat noodles with black bean sauce as a symbol of our state. It's pretty much the official Korean version of "Single Awareness Day". Happens in April.

Well [...] maybe if you grew up with it and it was all the time...it would probably get annoying.

- I guess that's the one I should really be celebrating. I've never had a girlfriend...ever...
