You're welcome! I'm using your #33(TW) here and I love the cropping, how the eye is drawn to the line of the arm, the wonderful diagonal, rather than centering on the face.

Also, I really like the close crops of #3(MR) and #37(JP), once again off-center so the eye is drawn to features. I think this is important for icons due to the limitations forced by their size.

thanks so much. by explaining y u like how i cropped those u are helping me become a better cropper. i struggle with it sometimes. i think u are the 3rd or 4th person that picked #33. (so your userpic is not unique sorry ;) ) i guess part of y they like it is cause how i cropped it. your right about the limits on sizes. that was a small pic too. actually too small i think to focas on the face..but also some large hq pics are hard to crop too cause theres so much to work with and u lose quality when u resize them smaller. anyways thx, im forever practicing my cropping and coloring. i guess thats what iconing is all about. :)
