I love them! I took only one #4, and will credit if used.

It actually reminded me of an idea for a theme of icons... I have no idea if they'd even icon well, but around the 1920s there was an awesome line of Chicago area train posters. Recently they've begun to make new posters in the same style. Here's a link to the South Shore posters, both classic and new - http://www.southshoreart.com/poster.html. I know there were other lines (around Chicago) with posters too. Just a random idea, and since you asked for suggestions on themes, I'm just passing it along...
