Finally got over to LJ to comment on this. I love the line about the right of the heart "where all judgments sink" and the shoulder blades compared to wings, echoing the Final Form. The idea of judgment seems to fit the Quincy, especially the Vandenreich. Yhwach's Auswalen was a judgment on the "impure" Quincy, but in a way, the Quincy have always been about judgment, like the way they destroy Hollows entirely instead of cleansing them like Shinigami, not to mention the very judgmental figure of Ryuuken. Even Uryuu was like that when introduced, looking down at Ichigo from on high -- something that was echoed in the last chapters when he told Ichigo to go home ( ... )
