Kuroro Lucifer
Kuroro Lucifer, leader of the Genei Ryodan and also Shalnark's boss. They aren't connected through fear or intimidation but through pure respect. After all, Shal would rather die than follow a leader he disliked. That is the kind of loyalty Shalnark willing gives to the head of the Spider.
One of his own teammates had said that Shal relies too much on his boss and not enough on the spider as a whole. Whether or not Kuroro approves of this, it doesn't change the fact that Shalnark will follow his orders. When Kuroro leaves a clue, he'll find it and also, interpret Kuroro's entire plan. Recently, he found Kuroro here at Shibusen which secretly, he was excited to find that out.
There really isn't another that Shal would follow. After all, he's funny, haha!

Machi
Fellow member of the Ryodan. Sixth strongest out of them all. Kind of terrifying! Besides that, using nen threads is her skill. It's a type of transformation nen that allows her to transform her nen into something thread-like.
Her personality is cold and aloof, but Shal seems to get along with her quite alright. The thing that bonds them is their dedication to Kuroro. Even though they both know that the Spider comes first, they both seem to see that the spider NEEDS Kuroro as well. Therefore, their loyalties are the same which makes it easy for them to get along with one another.

Shizuku
Shizuku is number 8 of the Ryodan. Her memory is laughable, but her strengths as clean-up crew is incredible. Even Shalnark would have trouble in an arm wrestling match against her.
Unfortunately, she was sent home.

Kurapika
Kurapika, member of the Kuruta tribe which the Ryodan had massacred years ago. He was also the same chain user who killed his friend, Ubo, and also stole the nen from his boss. Shalnark definitely feels a sense of "dislike" towards this Kuruta. If he had the option to kill him, he'd do so without hesitation.
However, right now, he hasn't even considered the idea of killing Kurapika. If Kuroro needed Kurapika as an ally for some reason or another then Shalnark would not interfere. In fact, he would willingly work with him if Kuroro requested it. Even now, Kurapika realizes that Shalnark is in Death City, but he has no plans to attack him whatsoever.
But it doesn't stop Shal from having his kind of "fun" at least!

Kida Masaomi
This kid could lead to connections. He's loud and boisterous, sure, but this kid attracts all sorts of attention so Shal likes to keep an eye on his posts. It's a good thing Kida is funny! Actually, Shalnark finds himself enjoying talking to Kida even if it's about unimportant things. Their personalities seem to match well so there is a sense of genuine friendliness there. Shal probably wouldn't oppose helping the boy.
Of course, Shal wonders what would happen if a few of his secrets were exposed to Kida. What would he say then? Shal wonders the same about the other. He's not as mysterious as Kanra, but they both hide their face. It's understandable, but Shal wonders if there is more to it. Did Kida have secrets of his own?
Well, that's up to him for now. Shalnark has no reason nor desire to dig up his secrets nor will he pry when it's unnecessary. Instead, Shalnark will continue to enjoy his company and really weird antics.

Kanra (Izaya Orihara)
Anyone who hides his or her face can't be trusted. Shalnark knows this because he has done this himself! It is so easy to hide your identity this way. He continues to watch Kanra to discover what he can find, but she's surprisingly good at covering her tracks. Still, he'd rather watch and see what happens than to accuse her of this outright.
His interest with this "Kanra" is definitely piqued.
On the plus side, she taught him smileys. c:

Minatsuki Takami
His first partner. A nice girl, always smiling, and always trying to find a way to help. Such an innocent girl...but she partnered up with Shalnark. This automatically increased his initial suspicions about her. For one, the weapon form. That was odd enough for such a cute girl. He was expecting a flower wand or something. Second, she used to be in a prison. He didn't think nothing much at first. Shal assumed that she might have lived in a corrupt world. However, if so,s he should have hated criminals. Is it possible for a sweet girl to partner with the likes of himself?
Although the loss was not great, the disappointment was definitely there. He wished he had more time to get to know Minatsuki really well...

Mikado Ryuugamine
Mikado was another that taught him how to use emoticons. After that, the two were clicking off really well which allowed Shal to sort of get close. They would converse in text for the most part. This made Shal curious as to who Mikado really was but he wasn't as suspicious as "Kanra".
He was once sent back home and returned with new memories intact. Unfortunately, the relationship they had was lost, but he planned to rebuild it when the chance comes up.

This kid made him laugh a bit! He seems a bit silly at times, but Shal does not mind talking to him. However, he can't imagine Kuroro using this kid for anything so for now, Shal will just have fun with random jokes with the boy.

There really isn't much to say about her for now. Shal's first impression was that Laura seems like a good-working girl who was serious about fighting. That isn't much for him to work it or could be useful for Kuroro.

She's a cute girl, both with her face and her personality. She's peppy enough, but there isn't enough for Shalnark to make a stronger effort to get to know her. She was also sent home.

An ally. Shalnark found it strange to see how close Kuroro was to China from a distance. His boss was quite comfortable with the country. Did Kuroro recognize that? Probably. It didn't matter to Shal much really. Instead, he pondered the uses that the country had for the Troupe. The country's neutrality and widespread influence would definitely be two of them.
