It's a heatwave!

Be still my heart. It's 48 degrees here. We won't talk about the water dripping inside - oh no. Or the pond forming in front of the garage door. Nope. It's warm. Like go-outside-long-sleeve-weather warm. Bliss.

Emma is better. Spent all day with her on my lap not moving so I wouldn't disturb her - oh come on, you people with animals, tell me you ( Read more... )

Did you get another snow storm? We've dropped in temps today, but will be warming right back up tomorrow. Love how much snow has melted. I saw dirt and pavement!

Our little Emma darling - for such a small feline she rules.:) And what's a little numbness, right?

I've no doubt the John and Dorian's relationship will make for more sense to me in order.:)

Like a missing limb. Still no word on renewal and with Fox's track record, I'm losing hope!

IT GOT UP IN THE 70's HERE TODAY! I was so excited! Glad to hear y'all are starting to thaw out some.

TWD...I'm a bit worried at the moment, because everyone else appears to now be heading toward the same place, with the exception of Daryl and Beth. We have no idea where Beth is, and Daryl is with those creepy guys. I don't like this at all.

Jealous! 70's. I think I remember what that feels like.:)

I'm just as creeped out about where Beth has ended up. Was that a hearse that speed away? Need to look again. I've no doubt Daryl can hold his own with the creepy guys, but I dislike that he has to.

I suspect Terminus isn't going to be the safe haven one hopes it will be, but at least we know some of the group will get back together.

Either way the show is certainly building toward an uneasy conclusion, but I like that there's some hope in it too.

It was nice while it lasted. It's dropped back down here some, but it's still in the 50's, so it's not bad at all.

I know, I'm worried about Beth, too. :(

I don't think it will be, either, but at least, like you say, some of the group should be reunited.

I'm just worried, because they haven't killed a major character since the mid season finale, and it's gotta happen soon, I think.

Did you catch the pilot of the new show Believe on NBC tonight? It has potential.... (Pilot will re-air Sat night if you missed it and want to try it.)

We did. The pilot felt a little stiff to me - in other words if felt like a pilot, but I'm interested to see where it goes. What about you? Did you see and thoughts?

I like that his hair will be shorter in the next eps.:)

One of my bullet-proof kinks is taking care of a kid (ah, those Caje episodes with the orphans ruined me for life!), and the fact that it's so reluctantly done here is kind of a twist/bonus. The other things I liked: the h/c (he does wounded well), the actress who plays the girl, the previews with Tate in shorter hair (of course!)... and the fact that he's her father and doesn't know it. I think that reveal was the major point that made me decide to watch next week too.

We'll see how it goes.

(In other news, I am all caught up now in Orphan Black and ready for the new season in April!)

This - and the fact that it's so reluctantly done here is kind of a twist/bonus and this and the fact that he's her father and doesn't know it are the two things that sold me the most. I like the death row inmate who probably didn't deserve death row taking care of a little girl, but I also like knowing the reason why it is so important for this particular guy to take of this little girl. Because anything else probably would have stretched my credulity in spite of the whacky premise. I like this whacky premise, but it still has to make some kind of sense.

Now there's the whole anticipation of when does Tate find out she's his daughter and she finds out he's her dad.:)

Orphan Black - did you love it?

OMG, it's warm here too!! :D It's… *runs off to check phone app thingy* Holy schnikes, it's 54 degrees here! Woot!

Hooray for Emma snuggles! I'm glad that she's feeling better!

How was Believe? I saw some previews for it but I just can't take on another show right now. My DVR would never forgive me if I did.

I love warm. I have a feeling our summer is going to be as interesting as our winter, but to have spring - which was an absolute no show last year - that would be glorious.

Our little Emma. She does rule.:)

Believe had that pilot stiffness, but I'm interested to see where it goes. The premise is whacky enough to appeal. Thankfully, most of our other shows are done for now so this one won't be an extra to fit in.

We didn't really have a summer last year - it rained all the flipping time!! I hope that changes this year! I'd really like to have a spring too, though.

Oh good deal! I've got a bunch more getting ready to start up again - Defiance, Sons of Anarchy, who knows what all else that I've forgotten. My poor DVR is so abused.

I bet Emma knows it too :D

Emma demanded lunch which I dutifully prepared.:) Poor little darling - she sounds like she's meowing underwater right now.

Hey, I've seen a couple of SoA eps. It's free on Amazon Prime so we checked it out. It's interesting, but I have to be in a certain kind of mood to watch something that - for lack of a better word - mean. I'll go back to it since I like the idea of - cripes, I forgot the guy's name, but the one who found his father's stuff and is questioning how he lives currently.

I'm glad Emma is feeling better!

Are you still getting warm weather? Without leaks, I'm hoping. Right now, we're getting downpours, and it's in the 40s. But my sister, about a 100 miles north, is getting 12 inches of snow. We're supposed to get a flash freeze after midnight, so all the rain we've gotten today (inches worth!) is going to freeze where it is. Should make tomorrow interesting.

I can't wait for this winter to be OVER!

We had a run of warm and now cooler with snow. *sigh* Still March. Gotta remember that.

Eewww. I'm late on getting back to you, but did you get the freeze? Heart goes out to your sister. 12 inches. Cripes. We dodged it yesterday. North of us got dumped on enough that roads were closed due to all the accidents.

Winter at this point can not end soon enough. Give me lawn mowing over shoveling any day!
