The title is made of awesome, but I'm not sure how I feel about the episode yet. I'll get back to you next week :)

I've noticed that a lot of the "rape" and "necro" wank people are young, like, under 20. Have you noticed this?

My interpretation of necrophilia is a little more broad than yours. Corpse can mean more than just a dead body; it can also mean the shell of someone, whether they're dead or not. I see the new Ruby (as well as the old Ruby since there is no way that body would have survived without Ruby in it) as the literal shell of the girl who was once in the body. The girl who actually started in it. The body itself might not be dead and inanimate, but the idea of the body is. If that makes sense.

That's just my interpretation of it. There are tons of interpretations of necrophilia, though.

I see the Sam/Ruby thing kinda like wincest. Some people don't mind it and others are squicked by it. I'm just one of those individuals seriously squicked by it, but I don't mind if someone else isn't.

Good thoughts on the necrophilia angle. I'm from the school of thought/belief that if I'm dead and my body is no longer occupied I really don't care what you do with it (except organ donation, if they're usable, take them please). I'm not home and not coming back, so whatever.

Thank you for being cool about the whole thing. The level of wank is crazy. I'm not really in either pro or con camp at the moment. Mostly because I still don't know what I think about Ruby. Kinda think she's up to something. I will say kinda leaning con 'cause hello, demon!

I may personally be pissed off about it, but I'm not going to tell someone else that their line of thinking is wrong. It's all about personal opinion.

I don't understand the point of wank. What you say in your own journal is your business, and you're not going to change someone's mind by "yelling" at them in a comment, regardless of what stance you take. If you don't like Sam/Ruby, avoid the S/R communities. If you do like S/R, there are plenty of communities you can join. It's not that hard.

I'm still not sure about Ruby's motives. She's done too much of a 180 to not be up to something. Some of that can be attributed to the actress change, but unless they wanted to show some kind of personality change, I think they would have cast someone closer to Katie's acting style. I find it hard to believe that they were that desperate to find a girl to work with the boys that they just settled on someone who is nothing like Katie in her portrayal of Ruby ( ... )

I liked the episode. There were bits I didn't agree with, and bits that flat out disappointed me, but overall it was good.

I don't think Sam/Ruby is rape or necrophilia, I just don't like it. Genevive Cortese does absolutely nothing for me in the role of Ruby, and that weighs on how I see the character. I just don't like her. But if someone else wants to ship them, then so be it. Just don't try to force it down my throat, kthxbai.

Yeah, the two temporary!Rubys in this ep were a lot of fun. I liked GC much better, though, now that we've actually seen her do more than five lines. Still bland, and I don't see any chemistry between her and Sam, but that's okay. I still buy that she would do that as a last-ditch effort to try to connect Sam to life.

your official opinions on Ruby actresses and the still lacking the 'tude from 1.0 and 2.0. for Ruby 3.0 made me giggle cuz u know, if this was a crackfic instead of a tv show, it'd b first c had the 'tude, then c tried2hold on2the 'tude, then c fell for Sam, and the real reason c's out of hell is they kicked her out when it got2embarrassing her painting with the victims' blood hearts with SW+R=LFE in them on brimstone, instead of torturing said victims.
