I wonder why they're having both? Especially since the new girl sounds very like Liz, from the description.

Hmm, very good point. I think they're keeping Liz around partly because now Colby's interested (okay, he was always interested) and we haven't really seen much personal life story line with him before. Also, new girl is a junior agent which could be fun if they take advantage of that and have the rest of the team showing the newbie how things work. I wonder what they'll do about lacking a profiler? Thought: Criminal Minds and Numb3rs crossover :)

I wish they'd put her with Colby to begin with if they were going to put here with anyone. It would be an awkward situation for her to date Colby after she's been with his (their) boss. Which was my whole objection to Don/Liz in the first place. As long as the writers realise that it would be rather ridiculous for Don to go from Robin to Liz to Robin to Liz...

Do all FBI teams have to have a profiler? They never did that much with Terry being one when they had her. I suppose they did emphasise it a bit more with Megan though.
