Well, after 5 days of having no power, our power is finally back on. I have decided that I no longer love winter, I absolutely hate the sodding season! Ice sucks ass, and it will be too soon if I ever see it again! Ice storms just suck! Our little town looks like a war zone with all the broken trees and debris everywhere. So releaved to know you are okay. I've been thinking and worrying a bit about you. It's been plasted all over our knews about you guys' weather and the lack of power and all the deaths. *hugs* So good to know you and your family are fine.

We're doing a lot better now that the power is back and we can get some sense of normalcy again.

I had a feeling you guys were getting some of that storm, especially after I hadn't seen you around here. Sorry I didn't call you back. I had been waiting to hear back from Sgt Sherman and that phone is a prepaid. Actual calls eat up the time so damn quick!

I need you to send me your address again, so I can put it into my address book right away. I'm taking it with me to basic, so I don't forget anyone's address.
I hope things get cleaned up and better for you guys soon! I am so sorry to hear that your KY family didn't care that much about you guys. That really sucks. If I wasn't homeless and leaving in 3 weeks, I would offer some room for you down here. And you know we don't get that much ice 'round here!

I understand why you didn't call back and it's fine. Just with the way things were it bugged me cause I had no way of knowing if you were still there or if you'd left and mom and I felt like our family had abandoned us.
