I'm not, though I wish I was. I taught myself to crochet a few years back, but knitting was beyond my patience. I'm absolutely terrible in my need for instant gratification.
I have much respect for those who knit and do it well.
I'm always looking at beautiful yarns and dreaming I could actually make something. :)
Have to admit to being completely addicted to knitting - and have just signed up to be a beta-tester on a new knitters/crocheters website called Ravelry. It's incredible - I could spend all day playing on it - hence the taking photos of some WIPs, yarns and FOs. This exercise has shown me just how much yarn I have (have yet to climb into the attic to haul down that stash) and how many WIPs I have (my camera batteries died today before I got a chance to record them all) It's horrifying - today's photos are only the tip of the iceberg! Anyway the site as it stands only links with Flickr so I had to open an account there (been using Photobucket up to now for all photo-related posting). Very impressed so far - but not too sure how well it links with LJ - there seems to only be an option for posting one pic at a time - but I haven't investigated it properly yet.
Thanks - have you tried Flickr for photoposting? I have to say it's easier to use than photobucket. I had to sign up for an account to link to a knitting/crochet website I'm helping to beta-test. It links beautifully with LJ - for single photos anyway - need to check out how it works if youwant to put several piccies in one blog entry
