The original movie was anti-war. Basically, if you can't get along I'll kill all of you. Makes sense since it was during the Cold War.

I know what you mean about the knitted items. Have you seen "No Reservations?" LOTS of good knitwear in that one. Not to mention it's a really fun, sweet movie. :-)

I recently watched Dan in Real Life on Netflix instant watch and really enjoyed it, not too deep and funny and touching at some points.
