Good evening, friends.

I am not deleting my LiveJournal and will probably have some form of presence until LJ implodes sooner or later. (Bluntly put, I'm an actual LGBTQ+ person who is potentially affected by our new overlords.) Found you over there. Haven't made any active move yet but suppose eventually it'll happen... I'm avoiding it as long as I can and trying to get used to that other place as a summer home...

Hey, no opprobrium attaches to people who don't move. But I feel compelled to let people know where else I can be found, if they want to find me.

There's been a lot of argh in my life, as in most lives, I suspect :D I think I've standardized it with 13 As, but not sure.

So you cross post from DreamWidth to here? Or are there things that get posted there that I don't see here?
I have a DreamWidth too. It's the same username as here, I pretty much use it to import my LJ stuff because people around me don't seem to think that this site is going to be around much longer and I don't want to lose the last 13 years of my posting.

I post from DW to here! My DW originally began as my creative journal, so there are some things there that you probably won't see here, but it's not like I've worked that hard to hide them XD

Iiiii don't know. Things have just gone slowly and steadily downhill since LJ was sold to Six Apart, and I wonder if this is kind of the long slide into oblivion.

I think I'd be sad if I had to permanently move across to DreamWidth. I have had this journal for so damn long. Met some amazingly awesome people on here. There's that sentimental attachment.

Yeah, I feel a sentimental attachment to LJ too and resisted leaving for years. I don't know if it's about to collapse and die (hey, things can surprise us all), but I can't really in good conscience agree to those terms.

I'll add you there, too, because it would be a shame if you missed any of my inane ramblings ;D
