Lazy Tuesday

I really should get off my ass and go out pounding the pavement. But you know, I did that yesterday and I'd like some time off for today, especially since I'm off tomorrow and I'm probably going to be too busy during the rest of the week. I would like to figure out some way to stave off the guilt later on, though ( Read more... )

*evil cackle* It's gray and gloomy and rainy and windy RIGHT FUCKING NOW and I love it. Today is a reason why I feel better than yesterday, what with all the sun and clear blue skies.

"Gloomy" weather makes me happy. :D No no. No sarcasm there.

And I bought me some goodies yesterday, which totally brightened up my rather depressed mood, too.

And now that summer is next..

I like grey weather too, in moderation, which we haven't had a whole lot of lately. Also I like sunshine, in moderation. (I'm sure this summer I'll be whining about how hot it is outside, because I turn from white to red and back again. XD)

Goodies 4 win! It's called retail therapy for a reason. :D

Dove's Easter chocolates had these sayings and one did have "retail therapy" written on the foil.

Sun and heat don't like me whatsoever.

Mmm, Dove. ♥

I like the sun, but it doesn't like me back and enjoys scorching my uncooked-chicken-skin Irish flesh. (Perversely, my Slavic paternal kin can all tan. What the hell.) Heat wants me to die, apparently.

XD Thanks. Orz, but I don't ~want~ to be a real adult.

Your dinners always sound so scrumptious! It's amazing how much delicious food you know how to make. I, on the other hand, mastered French's Onion Chicken last night. Cover chicken in crushed French's French-Fried Onions and bake for 20 minutes. Voila!

Maturity is ttly overrated. XD

Dude, if you can read, you can cook! Srsly, it's not that hard--the time factor can be an issue, though. Quiche is really easy (though the crust can take time), if not exactly a lo-cal meal. It was damn tasty, though. :9

Hey, there's nothing wrong with French's Onion Chicken. XD Incidentally, if you're into chicken, I've got a rly good recipe for the stuff with Provencal sauce; it's quick and tasty. Pair it with microwave baked potatoes and frozen vegetable medley (choose your medley wisely) and you can eat in under an hour. :D
