I have the distinct feeling that I am not supposed to be overjoyed about being packed home on account of my shit performance, but I am. I mean, hey, three hours of work vs. five? Noooo argument.

I'm glad you liked Prince Caspian. A lot of ppl on my flist have been disappointed with it.

Well, I mean, of course it's not the movie I've been making in my head since I was 8, but I don't think it turned out that badly. There were some things I did find a bit problematic, but some of it was necessary because books and film are two different genres and what works in one would be boring in another (*coughEXPOSITIONcough*).

Now I need to read your flist out of curiosity *g*

what did you think of the other boleyn girl?
if you liked the movie... don't read the book...
very disappointed personally!

It was enjoyable, but I was faintly disappointed (maybe because I'd bought the book but haven't read it yet--I like Philippa Gregory, though); I'd expected it to be more complex, somehow.
