y'know, reading your thoughts on this book makes me want to go out and read it. Prurient interest and whatnot. I think the best pr0n in a book not totally meant entirely for pr0n that I've read at all recently (read in the last 3-4 years) was the original Kushiel book. Damn that lady knows how to write masochism well.

It's also lent itself to several film adaptations, but I've never seen any of them, so I've no idea how much s3xx0rz there is or isn't. Actually, though I loathe Erica Jong, I am tempted to pick up her Fanny, since I have a stomach for literary tomfoolery l0lz.

d00d, I haven't read the Kushiel books, though one of my friends likes them and another says that they're sodden mit Intelekshual-speak. Confirm or deny?
