Probably, but just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. ^_- The point is to show that I bought something major and paid it off over time; besides, even with the check I wrote for the difference (I could only get it about 75% financed), I still owe $300 on it.
Needless to say, a $300 check would put a significant dent in my ability to spend irresponsibly on books and DVDs checking account. ^_-
I love my credit rating. It's about as good as it can get after me religiously paying off my credit card on time for about nine years now, always being on time with bills, plus paying off a four year car loan in four months ;)
