Love Drunk!Britta. I think in general J/A writers do a good job with her characterization, and if it's off, it's usually in her favor.

I also loved snooping Britta. And how excited she was about her juicy gossip before she realized the girlfriend in question was Annie.

Wonderful job as always, my dear!

This? Was awesome. I love your Britta so, so much - she's just spot on. I would definitely read a whole Drunk Detective series featuring your Britta Perry.

The whole thing was just sweet, and the tiny glimpse into what Jeff and Annie's relationship is (toothbrush! hair ties! laundry!) was so telling without being explicit that it just felt...special and real. Looove this.

Thanks! I kind of love drunk!Britta. Well, drunk!anyone, but Britta is fun to write. I'm not confident in my characterizations of any of them, but with Britta, I feel a little more secure. I think she's more the interpretation of writers than anything else because she's been so inconsistently written.

LOL, I might do something like that, though it'll be much, much later.

Aww, thanks. I do adore their relationship no matter what kind it is, but seeing the sweet side of what could be between them... priceless.

I don't know why when I saw this I thought it was slightly ooc of Britta to be in this situation, because she is perfectly in character right here. You captured her reaction to the whole situation wonderfully. So very Britta. And the description of Annie and Jeff's smiles and kisses made my heart warm. Great job :)

Huh. I didn't see it as OOC when I got the prompt, I saw it as Britta being falling down drunk and Jeff being a good friend, hee! But, in the end it worked for you, so, yay! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Aww, everyone loves the loving Jeff/Annie bits. So do I. I have this continuing scene/sequel taking shape in my head that may actually become something.
