I'm watching The Namesake right now and bawling my eyes out. I stopped because I was, literally, crying too hard. And I checked M/M and saw this and it made me chuckle so thank you ;->

I'm doing a film review for my Race and Culture class and I loved the book but it's been a few years... Ugh. It's so painful! In part, probably, because I connect with some of the issues. (I'm also a crier - credit card commercials, check. Fictional books, check. Disney movies, check.)

The chuckle definitely helped break my sombre mood!

Hee. Thanks! I've actually never wanted backstory for their rivalry because it's awesome to think about it and never be disappointed or proved wrong. THe disappointment mostly.

You're right! It'll always be one of my favorite things about Community; Jeff's unexplained hatred of some random old dude. Leonard's awesome.

I've wondered what his beef was, but never really wanted to know, ya know? I don't anything could ever live up to our imaginations and expectations.

Yup. Though, honestly, I only like Britta in fic these days. Which is sad.

I kind of agree with you that the direction she's been taken in the show has kind of put me off a bit. I mean, I remember watching with my fiancé and yelling at the TV 'Oh my God, she IS actually THE WORST!' But, I still kind of love her character...sometimes.

Fic!Britta is still streets ahead though!
