This is one of the most honest and realistic portrayals of a sex scene between these two characters that I think I've come across. At no point did I feel awkward and think 'oh that's so not Annie'. It was just so well written.

And the symmetry at the end with the beginning of the story was a really nice touch.

Gah, I am so happy with how you ended this :)

Wow, thank you so much! I was afraid some of it might be OOC, but hoped I was wrong. Good to know it felt in character. :)

Symmetry and me, we're two peas in a pod.

Thank you! I'm not the best fic ender... I have problems with, ya know, ending them. They tend to drag on forever when I'm at the helm. But I'm making myself finish these suckers because I'm tired of being the WiP-queen.

Wow. You weren't kidding when you said this was going to be a big chapter ( ... )

I really was not, no. Hee. It was actually over 11,000 words with what's now chapter 2 before I broke it up.

Hm, maybe I'll write a snippet on Annie in the bar-- no, you just did and that works for me! I think you just described it very well.

Striking a balance with me is always a struggle. I tend to lean one way or another and have to go back and fix it, which is why my chapters take so long to be posted even after they're written.

Thank you! I went back and forth on Annie's feelings toward the end, and then it all fell into place with Jeff's reticence, even though I worried that he was being too reserved. I'm happy to know I hit a nice balance. As I said, I struggle.

The text conversation, being something that I generally don't like to read in a fic, actually became one of my favorite parts in the end.

Thank you so much for commenting! :)
