“Don’t move.”
Rose held perfectly still, eyeing the bug scuttling across the ground in front of them. It was big, alien, and disgusting.
“Has it gone yet?”
“Not yet, no. Give it a tic.”
Following the bug’s erratic movements, she breathed a sigh of relief when it finally disappeared under a large rock a few feet away.
“It’s safe now.”
“About bloody time,” the Doctor complained, standing up and nonchalantly dusting the dirt off his jeans.
Like he hadn’t just been afraid of a bug.
Rose rolled her eyes, keeping her mouth shut as they headed back to the TARDIS.
