Obama nor McCain would say that things will get worse before they could get better. That's a given. But it's obvious.The rest of '08 will suck. But '09 is going to be a mess.

I totally lurve that Sinfest comic.

Somewhat promising news is that spending on residential construction is up 0.3% in August from July. It may not seem like alot, but that gain respresents the 1st time since March '07 that residential construction spending showed a month-to-month increase. I'm anxious to see September's numbers.

You're right when you talk about McCain's and Obama's "plans". If only the Republicans and Democrats would stop trying to blame each other for this mess and simply accept blame on both sides and figure out the best way to move forward. 2009 IS going to suck.
