This is the kind of thing that people who actually have to live in snow probably hate to hear, but damn that looks wonderful. Snow has always been very much a novelty for me, and I love it like a letter from a long lost friend. It looks beautiful - peaceful - romantic - wonderland. And I say that as someone who doesn't have to shovel it, or try to start the car, or do so much as try to get the morning paper in the freezing cold.

There are always more pictures of the puppy. These came out real nice, she really loves it out there.
There is a special quality to the winter, you give yourself permission to bundle up and cocoon. Then there's a point of cabin fever. I had a big chest cold, I used the bad weather to motivate, then curled up again (dog at my feet).
