Daniel looked over at her from another bed, almost envious that she got to sleep. With his concussion, after they'd given him fluids and warmed him up to counteract the shock he was going through, there was a very persistent nurse who was assigned to wake him up every hour on the hour....just to make sure he could still wake up.
She'd only just done it to him again a few minutes ago. "I'd rather be unconscious," he said rather sulkily at her prodding him awake. At least it gave him a chance to see if Shakarri was alright, which she seemed to be. It had been quite the ordeal. Lucky the team had found them when they did. At least, Daniel was sure that's what had happened. It was a bit fuzzy towards the end there.

"She's been waking on her own every twenty minutes. We're afraid to give her a sedative, her symbiont's still weak." She shook her head lightly. "At least you didn't have to be carried through the gate." Taking note of his vitals she nodded. Feeling any better?"

"Warmer at least...still got a headache but it's not as bad." Daniel frowned, trying to remember. "Did I walk through the gate? I'm amazed I made it that far." He looked over at Shakarri again who was breathing easily.
"You let me know if...y'know...anything goes wrong with her, ok?"

"So far they're both just tired. She wouldn't tell me exactly what happened other than minor details. And you walked through with help. We sent SG5 to fet you when the two of you didn't check in when you were told to. They found you both a few yards from the gate."

"You sure you don't remember how you got that far?"
