Actually, to speed up the weight-loss, small healty snacks - like fruit, vegetables, roughage etc (not nuts, too fatty) - between meals, and smaller servings for main meals is really helpful. Speeds up the metabolism, and encourages the body to burn fat-stores. A helpful mantra: smaller servings, a little more often.
Thanks. I've upped the water intake too. That is supposed to help. It is not so much mega-weight loss that I'm looking for, more getting back into shape. I know I'll never be in the shape I was when I was 20, but something better than I have now would be a bonus!

Seems to be contagious, this going to the gym thing. Unfortunately I've either been too busy or too distracted for the last few weeks to either go to the gym and/or walk, or eat properly. And consequently you don't outweigh me by too much!
