Wow, I didn't know you were the one to name Bartleby! That's so cool! (I'd dig out my old issues of Bone, but that would involve going into the basement, and the basement involves spiders.)

And lest you think you were the only one, I'd credit Wizard Magazine's "Palmer's Picks" for introducing me to Acme Novelty Library, Jay Stephens and possibly Eightball. Pretty much the entire reason I do comics today.
