That was great! We've got some odd synchronicity happening in the stories we're working on, though; I've also been writing a story about an obsessive cataloger. Very different story, but some tonal and structural similarities.

Great concept, loved all the permutations of Moby Dick (Mocha Dick?). I suppose in the end, it's only necessary for each person to catalogue a single volume...
