Last Five Years is my baby. It was written by Jason Robert Brown, same guy who did Songs for a New World and Parade. Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott, the dynamic duo, were the original off-Broadway cast. It's a piece of genius. I could never live without it. If you want more details, I'll give 'em, along with a download if I ever get the time.
Light in the Piazza I don't know so well, but my best friend Tressa saw it and she's in love with it. It's a very Tressa show. Meaning beautiful use of subtlety, gorgeous artistic direction, Italians galore, and romance romance romance ROMANCE. From what I've listened to (I've never actually had the time to hear the whole thing through) it's absolutely GORGEOUS.
Actually, I was wrong. All I have is the London cast of Phantom. Sawry. Let me know if you still want it. Later on today I'll be posting all the Broadway stuff I've filched from Taylor's daddy - and the stuff *I* had, which was woefully lacking - so if there's anything offa that you'll want, just let me know and I'll flash it your way faster'n you can say zippadeedoodah.
